Terms & Conditions

Red Nose Christmas Lighting is a Christmas, holiday, and event decoration service company specializing in the design, installation, maintenance, takedown, and storage of seasonal displays for residential and commercial properties.


1. Scope of Services

Red Nose Christmas Lighting provides seasonal holiday lighting design, installation, maintenance, takedown, and storage services for residential and commercial properties. Services may vary by location and availability. We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason permitted by law.


2. Ownership of Decorations & Materials

  • All decorations, lights, bulbs, cords, timers, clips, extension cords, and any other installation materials remain the sole property of Red Nose Christmas Lighting at all times.

  • Customers are leasing the use of these materials for the agreed service period only; no ownership rights are transferred.

  • Customers may not sell, lend, give away, modify, move, unplug, or otherwise alter any materials provided by Red Nose Christmas Lighting.

  • Customers may not plug any personal items, decorations, or electrical devices into our equipment, cords, timers, or outlets used for our display.

  • Any loss, theft, tampering, or damage to decorations caused by the customer, their guests, pets, contractors, or other third parties will result in charges for repair or replacement at full value.

  • We retain the right to enter the property during reasonable hours to inspect, maintain, or remove our property.

  • All decorations and materials will be removed by Red Nose Christmas Lighting at the end of the agreed display period unless otherwise arranged in writing.


3. Electrical Responsibilities & Limitations

  • The customer is solely responsible for ensuring that their electrical system is in safe working condition and capable of handling the additional load of the lighting display.

  • We are not electricians and will not perform any work that requires an electrical license.

  • We are not responsible for diagnosing, repairing, or modifying customer electrical systems.

  • We are not responsible for outages or failures caused by pre-existing electrical issues, faulty wiring, inadequate circuits, tripped breakers, or insufficient power supply.

  • The customer is responsible for correcting any electrical problems necessary for the safe operation of the display.

  • If an electrical issue prevents completion or operation of the display, the customer remains responsible for all costs of materials, labor, and service calls performed up to that point.


4. Quotes & Pricing

  • Quotes are valid for the time period stated in writing or, if unspecified, for 14 days.

  • Pricing is based on information provided by the customer; adjustments may be made if additional work or materials are required.

  • All prices are subject to change without notice unless otherwise stated in a written agreement.


5. Payments

  • Payment terms will be provided in your invoice or agreement.

  • A deposit may be required to secure service scheduling.

  • Failure to make payment in accordance with the agreed terms may result in suspension of services, removal of installed materials, and/or legal collection action.


6. Scheduling & Cancellations

  • Installation and takedown dates are subject to weather, material availability, and crew scheduling.

  • Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the scheduled installation may incur a cancellation fee.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, supply chain issues, utility company restrictions, or events beyond our control.


7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide safe, unobstructed access to the installation area.

  • Ensure all electrical outlets used for the lighting are functional and meet safety codes.

  • Obtain any required homeowner association (HOA) or municipal approvals before installation.

  • Keep pets and children away from the installation area during service.

  • Protect decorations and materials from intentional or accidental damage during the service period.

  • Refrain from moving, altering, or attempting to repair the decorations.

  • Notify Red Nose Christmas Lighting immediately if any part of the display is damaged, disconnected, or malfunctioning.


8. Liability Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for damage to roofing, siding, landscaping, or other property resulting from the normal installation or removal process, especially when working on pre-existing fragile, aged, or defective surfaces.

  • We are not responsible for outages or damage caused by customer-provided electrical supply, weather events (including wind, snow, ice, or rain), acts of vandalism, or third-party interference.

  • We make no guarantee of uninterrupted service or display operation due to circumstances beyond our control.


9. Intellectual Property

All designs, photographs, written content, and marketing materials produced by Red Nose Christmas Lighting remain our intellectual property and may not be used without our written permission.


10. Promotional Use of Images & Testimonials

By engaging our services, you grant us permission to photograph or record video of installed displays for promotional purposes, including but not limited to on our website, social media, and marketing materials, without additional compensation. Any testimonials or feedback you provide may also be used in marketing, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.


11. Warranty

We provide a limited warranty on the workmanship of our installation services for the duration of the holiday season, provided that:

  • Lights and materials remain in the location and condition in which they were installed.

  • No alterations or adjustments are made by the customer or third parties without our consent.


12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Red Nose Christmas Lighting, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our services, or any actions related to the installed lighting after completion of our services.


13. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to terminate service for violation of these Terms, nonpayment, unsafe conditions, or behavior deemed inappropriate toward our staff.


14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cleveland County, Oklahoma.


15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
